Stefanie Silverman is an attorney, philanthropist, photographer and investor. She is currently business manager of Groundplay Therapy Works, her partner’s pediatric occupational clinic, president of Zera Foundation and dedicates time working with a nonprofit all girls secondary school in Kenya, Daraja Academy. Previously, she was a defense attorney at Metropolitan Public Defender in Washington County where she handled a variety of cases including juvenile, civil commitments and general criminal defense. Stefanie and her partner, Mikki, have two children, Nili (sophomore Colorado College) and Phineas (Junior at NWA). Stefanie is originally from Massachusetts and Mikki from Colorado. They both fell in love with Oregon while attending Lewis and Clark College and chose to make Portland their home. They enjoy the beauty of the PNW, a good hike, gathering for meals with friends and traveling as a family.
