Production Coordinator, Vocal Music and Musical Theater Teacher
KRISTIN VAN SICKLE has a BA in Vocal Music Pedagogy and has been a teacher, director, music director and performer for 2 decades. In addition to her work as teacher at NWA, Kristin maintains a private studio where she trains students in proper vocal technique and body awareness. Her students have studied at some of the top music and theatre schools in the country including Carnegie Mellon, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Boston Conservatory, NYU and more. Some local credits include the world premiere of the original musical The Kiss at Lakewood Theater (music director), Matilda the Musical at Imagine Theatre (director), Mary Poppins and Shrek the Musical at Journey Summer Theater (music director) and Youth Cast Director and Conductor for Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree. She also recently produced, directed and played Woman 1 in Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World at Chapel Theater. Kristin joined the faculty of NWA in 2013 and is honored to be a part of this wonderful community.
