Cindy Riley

CINDY RILEY teaches Spanish fluently, Spanish Immersion A and B, Spanish Seminar, and Arts & Cultures of Latin America at Northwest Academy. She studied the Spanish language in Mexico and has since developed a passion for teaching Spanish and Latin culture, most recently working at the school of Our Lady of The Lake, The Children's Hour Academy, as well as other schools within the Lake Oswego District.  Cindy's experiences have solidified her passion for teaching—her ability to speak Spanish allows her to communicate with not only my Spanish-speaking students but with families as well, to help foster a connection between the school and homes.  As a Latina, Cindy's drive to serve students is strengthened with each passing day walking into work. She strives to instill inspiration and motivation within all her students to pursue their dreams and set them up for success. Cindy loves to spend time with her kids and granddaughter, visiting her family in California and in Mexico, hiking, food, art, nature, and her cup of coffee in the mornings. Cindy joined Northwest Academy in 2022.
