Adrienne Middleton

Adrienne earned her B.A. and M.A. in Spanish from Portland State and continued teaching there for many years after graduation. A native of Portland, she’s been teaching in “Stumptown” for more than 20 years. She’s worked at University of Portland and, most recently, Portland Community College SE Campus, where she’s been for the past 15 years.

Alongside her work in the classroom, she has been leading exercise classes in a variety of fitness facilities. In fact, she got her first gig teaching step aerobics in 1994 at La Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas in Ciudad Victoria, MX, where she lived and worked for a year.

When she’s not teaching, Adrienne loves spending time with her family and friends, riding her bike, listening to audiobooks, and creating succulent gardens. 

Adrienne joined Northwest Academy in 2022.
