The Arts After Hours program offers accredited classes in the media, visual and performing arts, taught by master teachers who are professionals in their fields. The wide range of course work will help talented students enhance their creative abilities and technical skills. The Northwest Academy offers many courses not available in the public school system.

 The Northwest Academy is committed to improving the educational experience by supplementing traditional academics with a strong arts program. Past classes have included: drawing, painting, printmaking, jewelry making, graphic and computer art, photography, vocal techniques, arranging/composing, music theory, guitar, acting, musical theater, ballet, jazz dance, tap, swing, sound design, filmmaking, web design, and computer animation.
